how to beat winter doldrums
It may be bleak outside but that doesn’t mean you have to feel it. The winter can be challenging to a wellness routine from the lack of natural sunlight and time outdoors, however there are ways to make the cooler months healthy and enjoyable.
Always an advocate of fitness since it naturally revs up the body, increases positive emotions and energy levels. Work outs should ideally be scheduled first thing in the morning so you don’t put it off and it sets the day in the right direction. Plan uplifting activities and simple practices daily, such as lighting candles, fresh flowers, going to the market for healthy food and cooking as a family.
