The holidays are fast approaching and I don’t know about you but I have been full steam ahead! As a certified integrative health coach, it is my priority not only for myself but for my clients to move through this time of year feeling energized, properly fueled and emotionally balanced.

Here are a few tips that have been extremely supportive to me in staying organized and keeping with the routines I know make me feel good (even when life feels crazy)!

MOVEMENT

Schedule time in your day daily for exercise. Even a 20-minute walk counts! Stretch, get outside if you can. Extra points if you break a sweat!

MEAL PREP

Carve out time to prep a few healthy dishes so when hunger strikes, there is something available you know will make you feel good. I love to prep a ton of vegetables and salads at my finger tips. Right now I am loving sweet potatoes, spinach & kale.

MINDFULNESS

Make it a priority to meditate daily, even a few deep breaths upon waking and writing in your journal can make all the difference. One of my favorite tips is to take one deep inhale and exhale before any meal or eating with family to begin my meal calm.
